Drill
3/8″ Holes are drilled into the concrete slab. We expertly locate them to be effective for filling the void below and raising the concrete. We use a structural grade two part polyurethane mixture often referred to as polyfoam.
Pump
Then the structural grade polyurethane foam material is pumped into the holes utilizing carefully calibrated injection equipment. Underneath the concrete a chemical reaction will occur where the two parts mix to create an expanding foam. The foam thereby fills all voids and stabilizes loose soil while expanding to support the slab. This structural grade lifting blend is designed to support 7,200 lbs per cubic foot. The closed cell foam bonds with the soil and concrete. It will create a stronger, denser base and will not settle or erode.
Patch
Finally, the drilled holes are patched with grout and materials are neatly trimmed at the edge. Most jobs are complete in less than a day. The curing time is 15 minutes and it’s ready to be walked or driven on.
